Make the Future Yours!

in the space industry

Date of the next event: 28 February 2023

Venue: Old Thorns Hotel, Liphook, Hampshire

The space industry is rapidly growing and it has become an important factor in helping our planet with many of the challenges that it faces at the moment. Climate change, deforestation, famines, displaced populations are being supported by data sent from satellites. The data is also used for communications and navigation, both part of our everyday lives.

In a few years it is forecast that 5% of the UK workforce will be involved in the space in some way. This has created a lot of new jobs from Level 3 apprenticeships to graduate positions. The South-East has the largest number of companies in the space industry in the UK and is an important contributor with some major corporations in the area.

Make the Future Yours! Live is bringing those companies together at the event with education providers and industry professionals.
